It is a synthetic polymer yarn that comprises a two-component yarn and a second yarn combined to form a single yarn. The two-component yarn is composed of a first component and a second component, each of which comprises a fiber-forming polymer and each of which has different shrinks from the other so that a volume gain effect is obtained. This differential shrinkage can be achieved, for example, by using different polymers or similar polymers that have different relative viscosities.
