A cast silver ingot with purity of at least 99.5 percent is cooled down to a temperature less than 15 degC. Subsequently it is subjected to forming with a reduction of 50 to 80 percent and then it is subjected at a temperature ranging from 350 to 450 degC to recrystallization annealing.
