The proposed method for making reinforced concrete tunnel from terrain surface, the side walls (1) of which are formed successively as individual longitudinal sections (2, 3) of the tunnel, is based on that the individual sections (2, 3) are alternately terminated from below in the ground as longer and shorter ones. First, both sidewalls (1) are formed that are then coupled from above with a ceiling structure (4). Subsequently soil (14) is removed at least on one side of the ceiling structure (4) downward forming thus a main adit underground haulage passage (6) all over the future tunnel length for handling material and hardware necessary for tunnel construction, whereupon rock or soil (14) is removed from a space extending between entrances of the future tunnel. Rock or soil (14) is removed up to the level of the future bottom surface of the tunnel bottom (5) and for the length of at least two adjacent (2, 3). Disclosed is also an engineering structure comprising two reinforced concrete side walls (1) coupled with a reinforced ceiling structure (4) with a main adit underground haulage passage (6) extending underneath and all over said ceiling structure (4) length and being recessed in rock or soil (14). Said sidewalls (1) terminate in sections (2, 3) in the soil alternately as longer and shorter ones. A stope (9) being interconnected with said main adit underground haulage passage (6) and extending up to the tunnel bottom (5) structure is arranged beneath said passage (6). Another object of the present invention is a reinforced concrete tunnel made from terrain surface in the above-described manner.
