The present invention relates to a compacted rolled fiber-reinforced concrete mixture comprising aggregates, hydraulic binder and metallic fibers with deformable anchoring. The metal fibers consist substantially of cylindrical wires (10) comprising a longitudinal central portion (11) substantially straight being prolonged on each side through an intercalated portion (13) of curved end parts (12) whose form is of the type which prohibits the hooking of two adjacent fibers, the aforementioned wire having - a diameter a diameter (d) of 0.38 to 15 mm, a total length of 19 to 80 mm, a length (l, l') of the curved end parts (12) of 1.5 to 4 mm, a transverse offset (h, h') between the central part and each curved end part of at least 0.75 mm, an obtuse angle ({alpha}, {alpha?}) between each intercalated portion (13) and the central part (11) less than or equal to 160 degrees and an obtuse angle between each intercalated portion (13) and curved end part, and a minimum tensile strength of 900 N/mme2, wherein said concrete mixture comprises, per cubic meter of concrete, 180 to 400 kg of hydraulic binder, 90 to 150 liters of water, and 25 to 60 kg of metal fibers, and not more than 1.8 percent by weight of plasticizer and/or retarder admixture based on the hydraulic binder total weight. The invention also relates to a process for producing a pavement by using the above-described concrete mixture wherein the process is characterized by making a layer of compacted rolled fiber-reinforced concrete mixture as describe here above in order to obtain a layer of concrete exhibiting continuously variable bending strength in a wide range of openings of extended cracking, for example from 0 to 4 mm, and without rupture of fibers.
