The present invention relates to a small size, hand-held disposable suction syringe consisting of three parts, i.e. a tubular body (1) defining an inwardly smooth barrel (4) with one open end (5) and a bottom wall (6) at the other end, and further comprising two gripping projections (11). The second part is represented by a piston assembly consisting of a plunger rod (12) and a plunger (14), wherein the rod has no inner passage and terminates at the bottom (6). The plunger rod (12) communicates with a sealing lip (7), while the plunger is provided at its distal end with a diverging sealing skirt (15) extending away from said bottom wall. The third part is an actuating button (3) attached to the proximal narrow end of the plunger rod (12) so that the tubular body (1) is provided with ribs (9) by means of which the actuating button (3) is capable of forming a contact with the plunger (14) skirt (15) at proximity of the smooth barrel (4) open end, as well as locking the contact with this barrel (4).
