Bottom trawl net and trawl sinkers along with usage thereof

An arrangement for a bottom trawl net, involving at least three trawl bags (3,4,5), which has a right upper corner (6), a left upper corner (8), a right lower corner (7) and a left lower corner (9) at the opening of the trawl bags (3,4,5); a number of lines (10,11,13,14,16,17,19,20) connected to the corners of the trawl bags' (3,4,5) corners (6,7,8,9), and at least two trawl gates (12,15). The trawl bags (3, 4; 4,5) are connected together, in a two by two arrangement, by or near their respective upper (6,8) and lower (7,9) adjacent corners in such a way that the trawl bags (3,4,5) lie side by side in a row. The trawl gates (12,15) are connected to those trawl bags (3,4; 45) which are at the outermost position in the row, and at their outermost corners (6,7; 8,9). The assembled trawl bags (3,4; 4,5) are connected to guiding sinkers (18,21) at the assembled corners (6,8; 7,9), which sinkers are designed in such a way that they exercise a directional pull on the trawl bags' (3,4,5) corners (6,8; 7,9) in a general direction away from a trawler's (1) wake. The strength of the directional pull is lower than that of the trawl gates (12,15).A guiding sinker is also described; along with its usage for trawling with at least three trawl bags.IMAGE
