APPLICATION OF PLANT GROWTH REGULATOR ON THE BASIS OF THE SEMI-ORBONE FOR EARLY STOPPING THE GROWTH OF CULTURAL PLANTS

Stopping in the late season of reproductive growth of plants with an indefinite growth pattern is achieved by applying a plant growth regulator based on semicarbazone at the place of cultivation of the plant at the moment after its maximum flowering. Semicarbazone is used as an active substance in an amount sufficient to stop the continued reproductive growth of the plant without significant effect on the reproductive growth of mature plant parts present on the plant at the time of application. Most preferably, diflufenzopyrone is taken as semicarbazone. The international application was published together with an international search report.
