A cuvette matrix has at least one row of connected cuvettes (2) from which at least one is detachable. On the outer surface of the detachable cuvette is a holder (10) to facilitate the cuvette adhering to the sides of an opening in a stand. The holder is at an angle, pref. 45 deg. to the longitudinal axis of the row. Pref. the holder is two plane members on opposite sides of the cuvette.
