摘要
t is disclosed herein a method for the treatment and dyeing of olive, bay, vine, oak and eucalyptus branches charged with leaves. For this purpose, two methods can be applied: according to the first method the branches are completely immersed in glycerine-water solution (2 parts of glycerine and 2 parts of water), at a temperature of from 80 to 90 deg. C, and for 25 to 30 days; according to the second method, only the lower part of the branches is immersed into glycerine-water solution (one part of glycerine and 2 parts of water), at a temperature of from 70 to 80 deg. C. In both methods, the use of aqueous colour, in the proportion of 30 g per litre of solution, is also permitted for dyeing the branches and foliage thereof. Due to this method, the branches of the aforementioned trees preserve, after detachment from the tree, their natural appearance, elasticity and odour for several years; they remain fresh and in one piece.
