The present invention refers to a novel production process for optimizing the resources utilized in the fabrication of terracotta products made in a mechanized way, and which functions mixing expanded polystyrene concretion with clay for making subsequently the mold of the product desired to be produced and then proceeding to the drying and baking and having as a result that the polystyrene concretion calcines letting a hollow of the size of the concretion, obtaining as a benefit to use less fuel for drying and baking, and also obtaining a lighter, more flexible, acoustic and thermal product, and the saving of 450 grams of mass per each 10,000 grams of clay, which benefits up to a 5% less its total mass, furthermore a decrease in the energy supply that heat or calories generate in the product drying of 0.75% and in the product baking of 5% in the furnace.
