摘要

The mechanism forms part of a machine which processes sheets of smooth airtight plastic, e.g. polyethylene or polypropylene. A rotating assembly below a hopper has a suction head (33) which grips the forefront of the lowest sheet (10) in a stack (12). As the suction head peels the front edge (55) down, a jet (61) of compressed air forms a cushion (62) to lift up the remaining stack and to allow the sheet to be drawn out.
