The pipe comprises a join-free, injection-molded or extruded outer mantle (1) fitted tightly over a synthetic foam inner mantle. A pipe for a ventilation system in a building such as a house comprises a self-supporting outer mantle and a synthetic foam inner mantle. The outer mantle fits tightly around the inner mantle and is formed without a join by injection-molding or extrusion. An Independent claim is also included for a ventilation channel provided with one or more of these pipes.
