The method and equipment for handling and working plaster by a plasterer (3) permits plaster to be removed froma height-adjustable tub (1) without the plasterer having to bend for transfer to wall or ceiling. The equipment involved (4) is provided with a floor plate (5) resting on the ground (2) on which are fixed successive vertical legs, together with two other legs one behind the other, which near their lower ends are hinge-connected to the floor plate. The successive vertical legs and the two other legs each have two telescopically movable parts. The vertical legs at the upper ends of their telescopic parts have horizontal pins parallel to the floor plate, which are hinge-connected to lugs in the corner points of the plaster tub.
