Transformer free 3-phase power supply system, especially for greenhouses or street lighting, based on 400 V line voltage components and pre switch box

The system uses line voltage from a standard 5-wire 3-phase electricity network (1) with a voltage of 400 V, without the use of transformers or neutral lines. The system includes at least one main distribution panel connected to the 3-phase network on the input side and to at least one 3-phase power line on the output side, without using any neutral lines. At least one sub-station is present, comprising an automatic 3-phase switch box with an on/off switch and a system monitoring device for preventing unwanted local overloading of the power supply system. At least one pre-switch box is provided, comprising a ballast unit, capacitor and semi-parallel and/or series starter, all suitable for 400 V electricity. At least one lighting unit is provided, comprising at least one gas discharge lamp in combination with a ballast suitable for 400 V electricity and capable of being adapted to the type of lamp used. The maximum power supplied to the lamp is ca. 200 V.
