Non-destructive in-situ evaluation of residual gelling time of thermosetting resin, involves drawing charts representing critical frequency and gelling time as function of temperature and progress of polymerization
Non-destructive in-situ evaluation of residual gelling time of thermosetting resin, involves drawing charts representing critical frequency and gelling time as function of temperature and progress of polymerization
Two charts representing the critical frequency associated with a phase shift value ( phi ) and residual gelling time of the resin composition are drawn as a function of temperature and progress of the resin polymerization. The critical frequency and temperature of the sample are measured at time (t1) by dielectrometry and referred with the charts to determine the residual gelling time.
