A method for processing a target single cell comprises the steps of irradiating a target single cell with a laser beam through an optical fiber and cutting off, removing or boring a cell wall and/or a cell membrane or the entire cell that has been irradiated. When the cell is human the method is an ex vivo method. The method may also further comprise introducing foreign matter in the cell after the irradiation with laser.
