The present invention refers to an adapter interface circuit between the switched network and the satellite network, VSAT, consisting in a set of units configured as input interface unit 2 which functions as a differential input amplifier and direct current decoupling, automatic gain control 3 which processes the analog signals arriving from the public switched network, tone detector filter 4 which functions as a band-pass filter, rectifier unit 5 which rectifies the analog signals, comparator 6 which puts out a digital square signal with the same rate, a counter/timer 7 which performs the counting of the pulses with a particular rate and the control logic 8 which identifies the actions to be taken in the satellite network, VSAT, and in the public switched network.
