BIOLOGICAL PREPARATION FOR LIMITING THE DENSITY OF THE LYMANTRIA DISPAR L. POPULATIONS, PROCESS FOR OBTAINING THE SAME AND THE USE THEREOF

The invention relates to a biological preparation meant for limiting the density of the Lymantria dispar L. populations, to a process for obtaining the said biological preparation and to the use thereof. According to the invention, the biological preparation comprises 8...10% of a strain of nuclear polyedrosis virus, 28...30% of kitin-type proteins, 60...64% of powder sugar and 0.1% of colouring agent. The process for obtaining consists in harvesting the infected larves, homogenously mashing the same, filtering the resulting suspension, transforming the obtained viral mass into dry powder by lyophilization atomization, conditioning the viral material. According to the invention, the use of the biological preparation consists in spraying the tree trunks with the biological preparation, in admixture with water, in the ponts area, along linear parallel paths, spaced apart at 800...1000 m.
