METHOD OF ORTHOGONAL CONVERSION OF IMAGES IN THE HAAR BASIS SYSTEM

The proposed method of orthogonal conversion of images in the Haar basis system consists in dividing the image into blocks with specified dimensions and performing an operation of orthogonal conversion for each of the blocks. The orthogonal conversions of the blocks are carried out within one stage, with concurrent calculation of the required coefficients by using the two-dimensional system of Haar functions.
