METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE CONTENT OF ELEMENTS THAT CHARACTERIZE THE DEPTH OF BURIAL OF THE PRIMARY HORIZONTAL SURFACE IN DEFORMED MAGMATIC ROCKS FOR THE PURPOSE TO CORRECT THE DIRECTION OF THE ROCK RESIDUAL MAGNETIZATION VECTOR
The proposed method for determining the content of elements that characterize the depth of burial of the primary horizontal surface in deformed magmatic rocks for the purpose to correct the direction of the rock residual magnetization vector consists in determining the parameters of paleomagnetic vectors in the oriented samples that are selected from the rock separations, and additionally, determining the content of the elements that characterize the depth of burial of the joints and analyzing the data obtained together with the data on the parameters of the paleomagnetic vectors. The present invention provides a possibility to extend the functionality range of paleomagnetic analysis.
