A method of making feed fish meal such that the raw material is comminuted, boiled, sterilized, defatted, and dried consecutively. In doing so the raw material is comminuted up to a finely destructed mass with the simultaneous in-flow heating, boiled and sterilized by means of heat short-term in-flow treatment with the simultaneous removal of the fat and moisture of deep-laid particles, additionally dried.
