A method for stabilizing paint-and-lacquer materials based on alkyd is performed by an introduction of siccative and stabilizing addition. Lead-free siccatives on the basis of salts of 2-ethyl hexane acid are used as siccative, and organic substances of oxyme nature at an amount of 0.65-0.7 % by weight at molar a ratio of oxyme:siccative (4.2-8.6):1 are used as stabilizing additive .
