A method for purifying mine waters comprises water softening with a subsequent isolation of the residue. Preliminarily water pH being reduced to 5.1-5.2 by processing the latter with a gaseous agent containing hydrogen dioxide, sodium dioxide being introduced at a quantity of 516-345 g/dm3 with a subsequent softening.
