A PAPER WEB (20) AND METHOD OF MAKING THE PAPER WEB ARE DISCLOSED. THE PAPER STRUCTURES CAN BE DRIED RELATIVELY QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY, AND CAN PROVIDE ENHANCED ABSORBENCY AND BULK DENSITY WHILE HAVING A RELATIVELY SMOOTH FACE.FIG. 2
