The abstractNew credit card with improved security of operationThe present system of credit card operation is not secure, that is why there are so many cases of credit card frauds in the world.The main drawback of present system is that all credit card data are "fixed" therefore all owner's information may be collected (stolen) step by step.The proposed idea may help to improve security of operation since it will make some credit card's data "alterable".New card will have an embedded memory microchip and metal contacts (Figure I ).A program will be recorded on the memory microchip; the result of the program's calculation will be a number. The same program will be recorded on bank's computer when a customer is given a new card.The card can be connected with a card calculator via metal contacts. The card calculator is a basic scientific calculator, however it has a port for connection with the new credit card (Figure 1 ).The calculator's processor will perform calculation based on the card's program instructions and the result of the calculation will be a number(" random number").The result of program calculation will be based on transaction data: day, card #, time, sum of money.Card's owner will have to submit the " random number " at any credit card operation. The number will be sent to a bank via net where it will be compared by computerwith bank verification number. The bank's number is to be result of bank's program calculation. Equality of the numbers would mean conformation of cards and operation validity.It will be impossible to predict the "random number" even knowing a few previous calculation, since the function have to be known prior. Nobody, except the card's owner will be able to use the card or make any transaction without having card and knowing the PIN number. The new card will help to stop credit card's fraud.F figure 1.
