PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for obtaining neutron flux in a nuclear reactor, in relation to a nuclear reactor. PSOLUTION: The method (80) for simulating a three-dimensional space distribution of radiation flux within a volume comprises the steps of (82) preparing a physical geometric library of data on the volume and a part housed in the volume, (84) preparing a radiation reaction data library of the volume and a material of the part housed in the volume, (86) calculating the radiation flux within a horizontal plane at a certain height in the volume, (88) calculating relative variation of the radiation flux as a function of the height in an axial direction in the volume and (90) combining the calculation result of the relative variation of the radiation flux in the axial direction with the calculation result of the radiation flux within the horizontal plane.
