A heat exchanger is located in a lower part of the fluidized bed and a device is provided for removing particles which have passed through the heat exchanger and returning them to the combustion chamber. The particle removal device is located below the bottom of the oven and comprises a horizontal transport device supplying the particles to a fractionater outside the oven, where fluidized bed material is separated from the ash and returned to the combustion chamber.
