The platform arranges software agents in user, service and resource layers, agents in different layers communicate with each other in chamber of commerce. It supports the formation of Resource/Wrappers with a resource agent with an external software component giving a service, and includes a resource agent, a bridge and an external program which analyses messages to it via the bridge to take action. An independant claim describes a multi-agent telecommunications system for assembling telecommunication services based on a request from a service user.
