Liquid is heated and pressurized to pre-set temperature and pressure and is then trickled through a pre-set amount of a solid substance (20) in a filter (4). The filter is coupled to a seat (3) so that the infusion formed in the filter is prevented from coming out of the seat (22). A back pressure means (6) is coupled to a second seat (5), downstream of the first seat. The back pressure means includes a valve and is designed such that infusion can only take place when a pre-set pressure is exceeded. The back pressure means includes a fast coupling to the filter holder.
