A waste car disposer comprises: (a) a series of furnaces (1-7) adjacently mounted having operating temperatures, controlled by heating elements, in the range of 280-300 deg. C, 320-330 deg. C, 440-450 deg. C, 655-665 deg. C, 900-1000 deg. C, 1000-1100 deg. C, and 1300-1600 deg. C respectively; (b) heat insulative gates (13,23,33,43,53,63,73) coupled with drive means for reversibly displacing them operatively disposed between the series of furnaces; (c) a conveyor (8) with open gridwork construction provided with vertical through holes (81) adapted to carry waste cars sequentially through each of said furnaces (1-7); (d) side-loading sliding collecting trays (12,22,32,42,52,62,72) in each furnace disposed beneath conveyor, each tray having a screen (14) adapted to catch unmolten waste car parts; (e) means for filling furnaces (1-6) with nitrogen at pressures controlled by pressure regulators (15,25,35,45,55,65); and (f) fuel injectors (71) in furnace (7) coupled to a waste gas processing unit (9) via an exhaust pipe (74).
