The reinforced concrete panels based slab has the panels prestressed by e.g. rods, and bonded together by in situ concrete, and incorporating expanded polystyrene as a heat- and sound-insulating core. Also claimed is a mould for making the panels. CLAIMED MOULD - The mould is a U-shape plate with its sides hinged to facilitate stripping and with holes taking prestressing bolts for the reinforcement. EMBODIMENT - The panels have a smooth exterior and are trapezoidal, with their bottom corners truncated.
