High organic crude oil residue biomethanization enhancement consists of zeolite treatment of semisolid and liquid fractions, with ammonia and hydrogen sulfide removal

The high organic crude oil residue biomethanization enhancement comprises separation of the residue into semi-solid and liquid fractions for individual treatment mixed with e.g. zeolite of specific granulometries. This gives 85-90 per cent removal of volatile solids and a biogas mixture volumetric percentage of 70-75. 50-55 per cent of the ammonia and the hydrogen sulfide present in the residue is also removed.
