Transparent plastic sheets are affixed to both sides of a paper sheet provided with graphics (3) on at least one side, and the three sheets are joined together by a peripheral seam (5). A method for making document holder wallets or the like with advertising on the inside, comprises attaching a transparent plastic sheet to the surface of a sheet made from paper or similar material and provided with graphics on one or both sides. A second transparent plastic sheet is attached to the other side of the paper sheet, and the various sheets are joined together around their edges to form a peripheral welded seam.
