The invention concerns a logistical network comprising edgesand nodes by means of which mailings sent from a sender to areveiver are transferred, processed and forwarded in a sequence which ispredetermined in terms of time and place. The network further comprisesdevices for determining differences between the nominal data describingthe state of the logistical network and actual data measured. A controlsystem is provided for minimizing the differences in a predeterminedperiod of time by shifting the processing of mailings from one node ora plurality of nodes of which the capacity is reduced with respect tothe nominal data to one or a plurality of other nodes such that minimaladditional expenditure is incurred.
