PROCESS FOR THE RECYCLING OF RESIDUES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF PORTLAND CEMENT CLINKER

The present invention relates to a process for producing cement clinker inrotary furnaces with the substitution of primary raw materials and fuels bythe use of minerals and residues containing combustible components withmoisture contents of up to 65 % without pre-drying. The process facilitatesthe material and/or thermal recycling of residues while conserving clay andfuel resources and relieving dumps while at the same time reducing theemissions, especially NOx from the cement rotary furnaces.
