The present invention is directed to methods for preventing crystal growth andparticle aggregation in nanoparticulate compositions. The methods comprisereducing a nanoparticulate composition to an optimal effective averageparticle size. The resultant nanoparticulate compositions exhibit prolongedparticle size stability and minimal crystal growth, even following exposure toelevated temperatures.
