A dental floss holder including a pair of arms capable ofholding dental floss material therebetween, an illuminationdevice and a switch. The illumination device is capable toacquire either one of an active mode and an inactive mode, inthe active mode the illumination device generating light foremission from the dental floss holder. The switch selectivelycauses the illumination device to switch between the activemode and the inactive mode.
