A user wearable device (30) for providing a sterile environment for connectinga user's catheter (12) to a fill-drain tube (22) for performing an exchange ofused and fresh peritoneal dialysis fluid includes a pouch (30). The pouch hasexposeable openings (38, 42) for inserting the catheter and the fill-draintube into the interior (36) of the pouch from the exterior of the pouch. Theuser (10) connects the catheter to the fill-drain tube within the interior ofthe pouch for draining and feeding dialysis fluid in a sterile environment.Hand covering elements (46) in communication with the exterior of the pouchare disposed internal to the pouch such that the user can insert his hands(48) into the hand covering elements and connect the catheter to the fill-drain tube within the interior of the pouch. The hand covering elements enablethe user to manipulate the catheter and the fill-drain tube from a non-sterileenvironment external to the pouch.
