A flat-shaped tube 2, a structural member of a radiator 1, can be manufactured easily without welding a connection portion for connecting edge portions of a plate member together. A connecting portion 11c of the tube 2 is formed in a double layer structure such that both opposing edge portions of the tube are bent toward each other in a curved shape, the inner face of one of the curved portions 11i and the outer face of the other curved portion 11g overlap with each other in a surface contact state in the width direction of the tube, and the surface contact portion is fixed through a brazing material 13.
