METHOD OF APPLYING CREDIT CARD/GIFT CERTIFICATE ENABLING DESIGN-EDITING ON INTERNET

PURPOSE: A DIY(Do It Yourself) service system is provided to enable a user to purchase the DIY gift certificate and to request the DIY credit card over the internet by implementing a payment solution and a web search system with various contents. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a terminal(1) and a server(2). The terminal(1) includes a data input device(1-1), an interface(1-2), an operating system(1-3), an internet protocol module(1-4), a web browser(1-5), a network access device(1-6) and an output device(1-7). The server(2) includes an internet access device(2-1), an interface(2-2), an operating system(2-3), an internet protocol module(2-4), a web server system(2-5), a CGI(Common Gateway Interface, 2-6), a database management module, and a database(2-8). The CGI(2-6) enables a user to design the DIY gift certificate or credit card by using a DIY certificate or card design interface. The web server system(2-5) transmit specifications on credit cards or gift certificates with related information web pages to the user by driving the CGI(2-6) for enabling the user to select a category of the gift certificate or the credit card. The DIY certificate or card design interface enables the user to design a background and an image of the certificate or the credit card by using an avatar, characters or photo images stored in the database(2-8). The CGI(2-6) outputs the designed image of the DIY certificate or credit card to the web server system(2-7) and requests to store the designed image to the database(2-8). The CGI(2-6) requests an analysis of a certificate or card purchase plan to the database(2-8) and receives the analysis result. If the user pays for the certificate or the credit card over the web browser(1-5), the web server system(2-5) settles the payment and transmits the settlement statement to the web browser(1-5).
