THE KIND OF ELECTRONIC BALLAST WHICH IS SUITABLE FOR COMPACT FLUORESCENT LAMPS WITH HARMONIC DISTORTION

The kind of electronic ballast which is suitable for compact fluorescent lamps with harmonic distortion includes double π typed filtration circuit for reducing distortion of electromagnetic wave (1), ac/dc bridge rectifying circuit (2), high and low frequency superposition rectifier filter circuit for correcting passive power factor (3), high frequency oscillation dc/ac converter circuit (4), and resonance capacity circuit of filament. The ballast is connected to a straight or U-typed fluorescent lamp tube when used. The harmonic content of input current lower than 30 percent and aberrance of wave is slight, this may insure the safely and economy running of the electric net. The input power factor is larger than 0.95, current wave crest radio is lower than 1.7, and the size of the assembled lamp is small, the cost is low, and it could operate in security.
