The invention concerns a device for providing acoustic indication to a diver equipped with a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus, concerning breathing mixture pressure in the reservoir (1) and/or depth of immersion. Said device comprises means for measuring (2) breathing mixture pressure in the reservoir (1) and/or hydrostatic pressure, including at least a pressure sensor (2), an electronic module (3) connected to the measuring means (2), comprising a generator of terms and/or beeps in electric form corresponding in a one-to-one system to the pressure values measured by the measuring means (2), and adapted to deliver an audio electric signal corresponding to the terms and/or beeps, and at least a transducer buzzer (5) incorporated in the mouthpiece (9) so as to be in contact with the diver's teeth, and designed to transform the audio electric signal into a sound signal audible to the diver.
