An electronic trading method uses a data communication network connecting a broadcast center (101), a viewer terminal (111), and an order reception center (131). When a viewer views an advertisement from the broadcast center (101) and orders the commodity advertised to the order reception center, the order reception center (131) generates points and the number of the points is reported to at least one of the viewer terminal (111) and the broadcast center (101). The broadcast center (101) cuts off the broadcast viewing fare by the number of points reported. Thus, an advertiser can promote sales of a commodity without causing price break and there arise no points in vain. Moreover, the viewer can get points without performing a complicated operation and can view the charged broadcast without paying or with reduced payment. The broadcast center can increase the value of the advertisement and demand for the charged broadcast.
