The present invention provides a generating and encoding/recording method of the teletext data, and a means for playback the teletext data. First, the teletext data should be edited according to the present invention's file format, then, it is subjected to the data format compression, translating and edit, and is packaged into separate data frames, and is encoded with two binary digits as its minimum recording unit, and the positive signal and the negative signal of the sine wave of frequency be represented as binary digit. The teletext information is recorded on the right track of the cassette tape, while the corresponding accompanying audio signal is recorded on the left one, to form an audiovisual recording mother tape; using a cassette tape-used high speed copy system, it can make the content of the audiovisual recording mother tape be copied, many audiovisual tapes can thus be produced; with the audiovisual tape, the audio signal and the text information can be obtained by a visualable recording player having a decoding means.
