The present invention relates to a synchronous signal detect circuit device of OFDM communication system and a detection method to detect synchronous signal of the device, said device at least includes a cross-correlation arithmetic device and a correlation peak value detector, thereinto said cross-correlation arithmetic device make the input sampling signal and feature code signal to get the cross-correlation arithmetic, and said correlation peak value detector is a peak value arithmetic device, which receives said cross-correlation signal output from the cross-correlation arithmetic device, compares it to a presetting threshold value, and detect synchro head by determining time interval of the adjacent peak value, and the output port of the cross-correlation arithmetic device is connected to the input port of the peak value arithmetic device. The detect method of the device detect the synchronous signal include: defining the signal of the cross-correlatiion arithmetic device and the correlation peak value detector and arithmetic disposal step of feature code, feature code and input sampling signal, register and initial value setting on it, input analog signals and analog signals outputting from sampling holder and correlatiion peak value, synchro head, finally realizing the detection of the synchronous signal.
