The invention relates to a method for measuring the concentration of one or more components in a mixture comprising water, isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a third component. Said method is characterised in that the concentration of the third component is obtained by an optical absorption measurement in the region of 1600 nm and the concentration of water is obtained by a single measurement in the region of 1450 nm where the optical absorption of the third component is close to that of IPA in said region, or, on the contrary, by two independent measurements of absorption in the regions of 1450 nm and of 1600 nm.
