Furthermore, a load monitoring block and a load dispersion processing block provided in each storage virtualization apparatus monitor the load, a failure recovery processing block detects failure of the storage virtualization apparatus, so that memory address conversion handled by the storage virtualization apparatus where load is concentrated or failure has occurred is allocated in another storage virtualization apparatus.
