Two-way cassette used in digital medical imaging and conventional x-ray diagnostic with two electroluminescent screens

The rectangular cassette has two opening mechanisms fitted on the smaller sides of the rectangle. Inside the cassette are two rectangular juxtaposed and joined electro-luminescent screens (2) with rounded corners. The cassette has an X ray detection surface twice that of a conventional digital cassette, it has two cheeks (7) which center the screens inside it. The cheeks are placed along the frame (3) between the input face a lead back to ensure perfect alignment. ??Once exposed the cassette is placed in a reader twice first to read the first screen, then turned through 180 degrees to read the second screen. The reader will produce two digital files which can be sent to a data processor .
