Categorization system comprises: input means (1) for assignment of data objects to categories; a database (2) in which categorization rules are stored; and consistency testing means (3) for testing the consistency of input assignments against consistency rules in the database. ??An Independent claim is made for a method for testing the consistency of user assignments of objects to categories.
