Wire Wireless Internet EC Support System Using Mobile Agent

PURPOSE: A system for supporting a wire/wireless Internet electronic commerce is provided to reduce a communication cost and load of a network using a mobile agent by connecting to the Internet only in searching a commodity or negotiating the purchase and in receiving each result without connecting to the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of mobile agents(170a-170c) include a program code for searching a commodity or information and a negotiation program code for assisting a transaction with respect to a searched commodity. A shopping mall agent server(70a) creates a mobile agent, supplies information such as a commodity price proposal document, and charges a management of a shopping mall. A repeater(50) performs a routing of the mobile agent to the optimum path according to kinds of corresponding queries. Shopping mall gateway agents(130a-130c) read a web document or a catalogue stored in a shopping mall which has not an environment capable of processing the mobile agent, perform a parsing of the web document or the catalogue, and extract/encode only wanted commodity list. A shopping mall gateway server(30) creates the shopping mall gateway agent(130a-130c), moves the shopping mall gateway agents(130a-130c) to the optimum search position, and stores a searched result. News group gateway agents(140a-140c) search information with respect to a commodity in a news group using an NNTP(Network News Transfer Protocol). If the information does not exist, the news group gateway agents(140a-140c) input a query thereto. A news group gateway server(40) creates the news group gateway agents(140a-140c), moves the news group gateway agents(140a-140c) to the optimum search position, and stores a searched result.
